DXtrade API error code
DXtrade API error: 429 Too Many Requests
What does 429 Too Many Requests mean on the DXtrade API?
DXtrade REST API: The user sent too many requests in a given amount of time. The vendor describes four kinds of rate limit (login, reading, trading and large data requests) and says the exact figures are configured by the platform operator for each deployment.
Risk warning: CFDs and spread bets are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. You can lose money on these products, and each provider publishes its own loss figure under FCA rules. You should consider whether you understand how they work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Automated and API trading can amplify losses through bugs, connectivity failures and runaway orders.
How do I fix 429 Too Many Requests?
Slow down and retry after a pause. The vendor's page says that if you believe your integration follows fair use, you can contact the Support Team with a description of your scenario.
