DXtrade API error code
DXtrade API error: 403 Forbidden
What does 403 Forbidden mean on the DXtrade API?
DXtrade REST API: The client submitted a request without the required condition. The vendor says that, for security reasons, 403 is not used for resources the client has no permission for: 404 is used in that case. The page uses 403 when the If-Match conditional request header is missing.
Risk warning: CFDs and spread bets are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. You can lose money on these products, and each provider publishes its own loss figure under FCA rules. You should consider whether you understand how they work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Automated and API trading can amplify losses through bugs, connectivity failures and runaway orders.
How do I fix 403 Forbidden?
Send the required condition with the request, for example the If-Match header on an order modification or cancellation.
