What does 2107 (hist data farm inactive) mean on the Interactive Brokers API?
Interactive Brokers lists TWS API warning message code 2107 with the text "A historical data farm connection has become inactive but should be available upon demand." (the vendor's wording). The connection to the historical data farm goes inactive in IB Gateway when no historical data request is active. The vendor says this does not indicate a connectivity issue, and that the status changes back to active as soon as a historical data request is made.
