Trading 212 API GET /api/v0/equity/metadata/instruments

GET/api/v0/equity/metadata/instrumentsversion v0Instruments

Every instrument the account can reach, with its ticker, name, ISIN, type, currency and the working schedule it trades on.

Risk warning: CFDs and spread bets are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. You can lose money on these products, and each provider publishes its own loss figure under FCA rules. You should consider whether you understand how they work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Automated and API trading can amplify losses through bugs, connectivity failures and runaway orders.

Independent and unofficialdocs.trading212.comchecked

Read on 12 Oct 2026 in Trading 212's own API reference at docs.trading212.com/api and the OpenAPI description that page offers for download (docs.trading212.com/_bundle/api.json). The reference calls the API a beta and says it works only for Invest and Stocks ISA accounts. The reply is a list, so no mock object is shown. Each entry carries ticker, name, shortName, isin, type, currencyCode, extendedHours, maxOpenQuantity, addedOn and workingScheduleId. The reference says the data refreshes every 10 minutes. Documented rate limit: 1 request every 50 seconds.

Response

No mock response is recorded for this endpoint. Where the record says why, or names the fields of the reply, it does so in the note at the top of this page. That is a statement about this record, not about what the API returns: read the shape of the reply in the official reference.
