Trade Exporter for the IG API: export IG trade history to CSV
Pulls balances, open positions, activity and transactions from the IG REST API into four CSV files. It runs on your own computer.

What it does
- It writes four files: balances, open positions, activity and transactions.
- It is built to run on your own computer and keep your IG password there. That is our claim about our own code, unverified by anyone else until the source is published.
- It has not yet had a recorded end to end run on an IG demo account, so it carries a Test pending badge.
Endpoints it uses
- GET/accountsList every account under the login (spread bet, CFD and so on) with balance, deposit, profit and loss and available funds.
- GET/positionsAll open positions on the active account, each with its market snapshot.
- GET/history/activityAccount activity (deals, amendments, order changes) over a date range, with optional detail.
- GET/history/transactionsCash transactions (realised profit and loss, funding, deposits). This is the one you want for a trade journal or tax spreadsheet.
