Risk warning: CFDs and spread bets are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. You can lose money on these products, and each provider publishes its own loss figure under FCA rules. You should consider whether you understand how they work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Automated and API trading can amplify losses through bugs, connectivity failures and runaway orders.

Cloud copy trading and risk management bridge across MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker, DXtrade, Match-Trader and others.

## Access, authentication and streaming

- How you get access: Retail self-serve sign-up at metacopier.io, with a USD 20 starting credit and metered daily usage based billing.
  - Status: verified. Source: [MetaCopier](https://metacopier.io/), checked 2026-09-21.
- Who can use it: Unverified. MetaCopier's home page would not render without scripts on 12 Oct 2026, so who may sign up could not be re-read. Its documentation, which did open, lists the platforms an account can sit on, among them MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker, cTrader, DXtrade and Match-Trader, and describes no broker permission step.
  - Status: unverified. Source: [MetaCopier documentation](https://docs.metacopier.io/), checked 2026-10-12.
- Demo: Unverified. The MetaCopier documentation pages opened on 12 Oct 2026 (the REST API, SDK, access policy and Socket API pages) describe no demo or sandbox environment and do not say whether a demo trading account can be connected. That is not evidence that none exists.
  - Status: unverified. Source: [MetaCopier documentation, REST API](https://docs.metacopier.io/rest-api/api), checked 2026-10-12.
- Authentication: API keys, of two kinds. A project level key, created under Projects then API Keys, reaches every account in the project. An account key is generated automatically when an account is created and reaches only that account. A key can carry an access policy that restricts endpoints, hides account fields and limits the IP addresses and origins it works from. The Socket API takes the same key in an api-key header on the STOMP CONNECT frame.

  - Status: verified. Source: [MetaCopier documentation, Socket API](https://docs.metacopier.io/socket-api/api), checked 2026-10-12.
- Streaming: Yes: a Socket API that speaks STOMP over a standard WebSocket connection, for real time updates of account information, history and open positions. One connection carries every account the key can reach, and accounts added later appear without reconnecting. The page notes that a connection may close after about 20 seconds without heartbeats. No SDK is offered for the Socket API.
