# Get your Capital.com trade history into a spreadsheet

Independent and unofficial. Not affiliated with or endorsed by any broker or platform named here. Educational only: nothing here is advice, and nothing here recommends a broker or a trade.

This is the markdown version of https://openbrokerapi.com/guides/capital-com-trade-history, written from the same records as that page.

Risk warning: CFDs and spread bets are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. You can lose money on these products, and each provider publishes its own loss figure under FCA rules. You should consider whether you understand how they work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Automated and API trading can amplify losses through bugs, connectivity failures and runaway orders.

Capital.com generates statements on the web and in the app. The steps are confirmed; the file format is not, and neither is a separate spreadsheet export of trades.

Status: verified. Source: [help.capital.com](https://help.capital.com/hc/en-us/articles/23198403966226), checked 2026-09-18.

### 5. Check the file format

We could not confirm the file format of the statement, or whether Capital.com offers a separate trade history spreadsheet export.

Status: unverified. Source: [help.capital.com](https://help.capital.com/hc/en-us/articles/23198403966226), no checked date recorded.

### 6. Pull the same records with the API

GET /api/v1/history/activity allows at most 1 day between from and to, so loop day by day; /api/v1/history/transactions defaults to the last 10 minutes, so always pass dates. Keep under 10 requests per second and log in again after 10 idle minutes.
