## What does error.security.get.session.timeout mean on the IG API?

The request timed out while IG was retrieving the session details. IG lists it for the GET method of the session endpoint, under both 500 and 504.

## How do I fix error.security.get.session.timeout?

Try the request again after a pause. IG's page gives no other remedy.
