# DXtrade API error: 406 Not Acceptable

## What does 406 Not Acceptable mean on the DXtrade API?

DXtrade REST API: The API does not support the representation format asked for. The vendor says this is returned when the Accept header rules out both JSON and XML.

Send an Accept header that allows application/json or application/xml.
