## What does 1005 Reference order is closed mean on the DXtrade API?

DXtrade errorCode 1005, description "Reference order is closed" (the vendor's wording). A modify order request named an order, or the parent order of a group, that is already in a final status such as COMPLETED, CANCELED, EXPIRED or REJECTED.

## How do I fix 1005 Reference order is closed?

Only modify orders that are not in a final status.
