# Saxo OpenAPI GET /hist/v1/transactions

Independent and unofficial. Not affiliated with or endorsed by any broker or platform named here. Educational only: nothing here is advice, and nothing here recommends a broker or a trade.

This is the markdown version of https://openbrokerapi.com/brokers/saxo/endpoints/hist-transactions, written from the same records as that page.

Risk warning: CFDs and spread bets are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. You can lose money on these products, and each provider publishes its own loss figure under FCA rules. You should consider whether you understand how they work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Automated and API trading can amplify losses through bugs, connectivity failures and runaway orders.

Lists historical transactions, such as trades, within a date range for a client or account. Filter by transaction type, asset type or instrument.

- Request: `GET /hist/v1/transactions`
- Version: v1
- Group: Closed positions and history
- Status: verified. Source: [developer.saxo](https://www.developer.saxo/openapi/referencedocs/hist/v1/transactions/get__hist), checked 2026-10-12.
- Official reference: https://www.developer.saxo/openapi/referencedocs/hist/v1/transactions/get__hist

Note: Part of Saxo's Account History (hist) service group. Saxo lists 400 for an invalid date range, and 503. Saxo's page describes no required parameters explicitly; which combination of ClientKey or AccountKeys and dates the server insists on was not confirmed. Method, path and parameter names were re-read on Saxo's reference page for this call on 12 Oct 2026 and agree with this record. That page does not mark which parameters are required, so the required flags here were not re-checked, and the mock reply was not compared field by field.

## Parameters

- `ClientKey` (in query, type string, optional): Client to return history for, from GET /port/v1/clients/me.
- `AccountKeys` (in query, type string, optional): Account keys to limit the result to.
- `FromDate` (in query, type string, optional): Start of the period (date).
- `ToDate` (in query, type string, optional): End of the period (date).
- `TransactionType` (in query, type string, optional): Transaction type to return.
- `AssetTypes` (in query, type string, optional): Comma separated asset types.
- `Uics` (in query, type string, optional): Comma separated Uics.
- `$skip` (in query, type integer, optional): Number of entries to skip from the start of the collection.
- `$top` (in query, type integer, optional): Number of entries to return from the start of the collection.

The required marks on this page are this site's reading of secondary material, as the note above says. Which fields the API insists on is not confirmed on the provider's own reference.

### Authentication headers

- `Authorization` (type string, required, not confirmed): OAuth 2.0 bearer access token. In SIM you can use a 24 hour token from the Saxo developer portal. Placeholder only: never paste a real token into this site.

## Request

Written from the method, path and parameters recorded on this page, against the demo host. Not executed against a live or demo account. Credentials are read from environment variables on your own machine and are never entered on this site. The request builder at https://openbrokerapi.com/tools/request-builder writes these same snippets, from the same record.
